Q&A: Image

I feel a little embarrassed to call you. Is that normal?

Absolutely!  It's not always easy to ask for help, or let someone else see we are very normal and maybe don't always have everything all put together.  I'm no different.  I may not feel great about calling a plumber (and as a mom of 3 kids - possibly embarrassed), but plumbing is not my thing - so I call.  And I'm happy to have the help!  So let me help YOU.

How does the a typical organizing session work?

Well first, you have to get in touch with me - please!  I will return your message, typically within 24 hours, and we then talk about your needs and how I can help you achieve your goal. We can schedule an onsite consultation to review the challenges, concerns, layout, and plan of action.

Will you try to make me get rid of most of my things?

My goal is to achieve your goal.  If that can be achieved within the space allotted, with all the items you desire, we will work together to make the space function for you.  If not, then we will (gently, I promise!) help you sort between "love", "like", and "why do I even have this?"

How much will hiring a Professional Organizer cost?

I have an hourly rate, and charge a reasonable fee for my services.  Projects can vary, depending on the volume and deadlines of the job. It can range from a few hours to several days, depending on the level of commitment and decision making abilities of the client.

Q&A: FAQ

What should I do to prepare for our session?

Enter the Answer to your Question here. Be thoughtful with your answer, write clearly, and consider adding examples. This can help your visitors get the help they need quickly and easily.

Do I need to purchase any products or containers prior to our session?

Please don't. During our first appointment, we will sort through your items and determine the best way to store the items.  We often find clients already own extra filing or storage containers.  We will see if existing containers can be used prior to suggesting purchasing new.  The key is to ensure the storage method fits the items to be stored.

Can you help me dispose of the items I no longer keep?

This is part of my service. We can facilitate the recycling, donation or disposal of anything you don’t want to keep.

What payment methods do you accept?

Enter your answer here. Be thoughtful, write clearly and concisely, and consider adding written as well as visual examples. Go over what you’ve written to make sure that if it was the first time you were visiting the site, you’d understand the answer.
